Howdy Y’all

Traded in my 2015 Leaf for more miles from the 2018 version. Gunmetal Gray SV with technology package. Loving the ePedal. Just think i have old maps because they display as 16-17. Nissan is of no help to answer other than to say buy 2018 maps.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Leaf! Between ePedal and Nissans ProPilot there sure is a whole lot of kit in this car for the money.

Congrats on the new upgrade and welcome to the community. To be honest you're probably better off with Google Maps or Waze anyways.

Congrats on the new EV and welcome to the forum. The pricing for Nissan's map updates are outrageous and you're dealer should really be providing you with up to date software on a brand new car.

Its only going to get worse as car makers look to shut out even independent shops that hire techs that worked for the big guys, all we'll have is them. One word, monopoly.

All that's involved is downloading the software to an SD card and plugging it into your car. There wont be any need for technicians to do these kinds of updates in the future. For the most part automakers will probably be able to push these updates over the air.

when it comes to more technical aspects that's won't be the case especially as they have to look at certain components and parts.
